Rules for contests

General rules for contests of FOX 4 Morning Blend:

No purchase necessary.

Limit of one entry per person per household.

Contest organizers and sponsors are not responsible for any damages or injury incurred by contestants as a result of winning.

Winners will be required to present valid identification, social security number and sign a waiver of eligibility and liability before claiming prize.

Prizes must be claimed at the WFTX-TV FOX4 - 621 S.W. Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral, FL. 33991. Unless specified in contest rules.

Prizes will not be mailed.

Winners agree that WFTX-TV - FOX 4 Morning Blend, and/or associated sponsors may use your name and likeness for publicity without additional compensation.

Prize is non-transferable, may not be substituted or redeemed for cash and winners are responsible for all applicable taxes.

Prizes not claimed after 30 days will be forfeited.

Winners are ineligible for other contests sponsored by Journal Broadcast Group and its subsidiaries for a period of 90 days after winning.

Entrants and winners must live in the Designated Market Area (DMA) of Fox 4 Television as deemed by Nielsen. (Fort Myers - Naples)

Winners must be 18 years of age and older to participate.

All entries received from ineligible entrants will be void.

All decisions regarding winners are final.

Winners will be contacted by phone or e-mail as established in contest rules.

Void where prohibited by law.

Contest is open to entrants 18 and older, with the exception of employees of WFTX-TV FOX 4 or Journal Communications.

 

Call-in Giveaways:

           

 

(a) Viewers will be asked to call in on a designated telephone line at a particular time or times during The Morning Blend. At the time that calls are solicited, the criteria for winning will be announced (e.g. first six callers, tenth caller, first caller with the correct answer).
 

 

(b) Station is not responsible for any telephone system failure or malfunctions or other inability of entrants to reach telephone entry line.
  (c) Winners will be selected in accordance with the criteria announced when calls are solicited. The contest will be judged by station personnel, and the decision of the judges will be final as to all matters, including (i) the order in which calls were received and (ii) whether any answer required to be given is correct.
