Tamara L. Chilver is the founder of Teaching with TLC, which was created to help bridge the gap between home and school by providing parents with the tools they need to help their children succeed academically. Tamara is currently a homeschool mom of three boys and a homeschool evaluator. Tamara is an author of two published books and provides teaching workshops for parents through seminars, publications, radio, and television programs.

Tamara has a diverse background in education  and uses her experiences to coach parents of elementary children. Her bachelor’s degree is in elementary education, and her master’s degree is in elementary curriculum. Before entering the homeschooling world several years ago, she was an elementary teacher, a curriculum coordinator, and a private tutor.

Tamara's goal is to coach parents by simplifying learning methods and equipping them with proven techniques to break through the obstacles of learning.
