The Children's Network of SW Florida, LLC, was created in April 2003 as the Lead Agency for all child welfare services including foster care and adoption. Services and programs are provided for children who have been placed into foster care, taken from their homes due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. There are 1800 children in the Southwest Florida area in the foster care system.

Since the Heart Gallery's inception in New Mexico in 2001, the Heart Gallery has grown to include 48 states, almost 100 galleries with over 1000 children finding families.

With the help sponsors, volunteers, and photographers the Heart Gallery captures the essence of children who are waiting to find that special place called "home". Biographies of the children accompany each photograph to give viewers a glimpse of their inner spirit.

The Heart Gallery will be introduced in Collier County in February of 2008, and will travel throughout all five counties to malls, churches, galleries and other venues. It is our expectation that this effort will dramatically increase foster care adoptions in SW Florida and locate families for the approximately sixty children who dream of a home to call their own.
