Golden Rescue In Naples, Inc. is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to finding loving homes for displaced golden retrievers. Golden Rescue In Naples, Inc. services rescue needs of the entire State Of Florida but concentrating efforts in Collier, Lee, Hendry, Charlotte, Desoto, Manatee and Sarasota Counties

Volunteers who had previously assisted other Golden rescues founded Golden Rescue In Naples, Inc. With a combined total of 20+ years of experience in place, they have pooled their knowledge and experience to continue their passion and efforts. This organization is comprised of volunteers that are totally dedicated to finding loving, responsible "forever" homes for unwanted, mistreated, neglected or abandoned Golden Retrievers. In addition to providing rescue service to Goldens, we provide indirect assistance to other dogs by providing contacts to other breed-specific and all-breed rescues. By removing Goldens from the shelters, we free up space for other homeless dogs. Our goal is to work closely as a network with other rescues and shelters in an effort to re-home the displaced Goldens. Another important goal is to educate the public on responsible pet ownership which includes complete veterinary care of the Golden Retriever, spay and neuter programs, obedience training, information about the breed and ethical and responsible breeding practices.
